What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are required for most of our activities
Can I eat or drink onsite?
Of course! Visit our in-house Chicane Resto·Bar for food and drinks before or after your activities. Outside food and beverages not permitted.
Is Goplex good for parties or corporate groups?
Definitely! we host birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate events for up to 200 guests.
How old do you have to be to race at Goplex?
Goplex does not have an age requirement, the driver must meet the minimum height requirement of at least 4’8” (142.2 cm) to ride in our karts.
How fast are your electric karts at Goplex?
Goplex offers 3 different speeds, Junior (30 km/h) , Adult (40 km/h) and Elite (50 km/h) . Drivers who wish to race at an Elite level must first qualify.
What is the maximum weight restriction for karting?
The maximum weight for our karts is 300lbs recommended by the kart manufacturer.
Can my group race alone on the track, or will we be mixed with other groups?
A minimum of 8 racers is required to obtain exclusivity of the track. Goplex can have up to 12 racers at a time during 1 race. To allow small groups exclusivity of the track would increase wait times during our busier periods. However, during slower times you may always ask the front desk to see if they can accommodate your request.
How long does a race last at Goplex?
Races are 8 minutes long, 7 of which are timed.
Can I use my own helmet?
Yes, you can use your own helmet, but it must have a DOT or ECE certification. The helmet must be equipped with a visor or worn with safety goggles.
Is the necessary equipment provided?
The use of our helmets is included in all our packages. However, wearing a balaclava underneath our helmet is mandatory. Goplex sells balaclavas and it can be reused on your next visit.
