Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum height to drive?

The minimum height to drive our karts is 1.50 m. Participants under 18 must come with a responsible adult, who must authorise their participation. Height may be checked at check-in before going on track.

Do I need to make a reservation or can I just show up without one?

Booking is not mandatory, but we recommend it in advance, especially on weekends and public holidays, to secure your place on track. You can also arrive without a booking and sign up on the day, subject to availability.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes before your booked time. That time is needed for check-in, completing the required authorisations, and the safety briefing before going on track. Late arrival may mean losing or rescheduling your slot, subject to availability.

How many laps does each format include?

Open Track includes 15 timed laps. At the end, participants are ranked by each driver’s best lap. Sprint Race includes 3 qualifying laps, which set the starting grid, and a 12-lap race.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. Fully closed shoes are mandatory, with no exceptions. Sandals, flip-flops, heels or open shoes are not allowed. Anyone with long hair must tie it back before going on track.

Do I need previous experience?

No. You do not need previous experience. Before going on track you will receive a briefing covering how the kart works, the main rules, the signals and the safety measures. Our team will be there throughout the experience.

What is included?

The experience includes the kart, a safety helmet, the mandatory briefing before the activity, and the timing system. Afterwards you can check your times, your best lap and the session classification.

What safety measures does GridX have?

GridX uses karts built for rental use, a licensed circuit, and a trained team that supervises activity on track at all times. A safety briefing is held before each session, helmet use is mandatory, and medical assistance is available on site. Intentional contact, dangerous manoeuvres and unsporting driving are not allowed. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in immediate exclusion from the activity.

Where can I see my times and results?

During the session you can follow race information on the steering-wheel display and on the circuit monitors. You can also check your times, results and classification on our website and on your phone.

What is the change and cancellation policy?

Bookings may be rescheduled once, if requested at least 24 hours in advance and subject to availability. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. If GridX cancels the activity for technical or operational reasons, the customer may reschedule or request a refund.
